A family's history

and the Alpeiner Nature Resort Tyrol

The early days at the Alpeiner Nature Resort Tyrol in Neustift were quite a challenge.

The history of our hotel is inextricably linked with the name Pfurtscheller, a long-established Stubai family. In the economically difficult and gruelling fifties of the last century, Alois Pfurtscheller helped to develop the tourism sector in the Stubai Valley. This was also when the first walls of the modern-day Alpeiner were built. His son Horst pursued the idea further to reveal the beauty of his homeland to guests from all over the world. With great diligence and skill, he was able to build up a stately Tyrolean hotel here in Neustift. In addition, he also assumed responsibility for the reconstruction of the original building.

Hotel Alpeiner has always fostered the warm-hearted Tyrolean hospitality to a high degree. Over the years, the needs of the time required ongoing adaptations and extensions.

In 2011 the owners decided to implement the most recent and biggest step:

With the conversion, renovation and upgrading into the "Alpeiner Nature Resort Tyrol", the term "hospitality" was redefined. The new concept wants to make it possible for guests with high expectations and families to experience a holiday par excellence.

However, the Alpeiner Nature Resort has maintained its authentic Tyrolean charm, the genuine hospitality and its warm welcome to one of the most beautiful valleys of the Alps.
