The name of the highest mountain in the Stubai Alps, Zuckerhütl, is no coincidence. If you look at this peak from the east, you will immediately understand why it is called that.
We invite you to experience winterly Stubai Valley in a variety of ways: during a fast-paced day of skiing on the piste, a lazy sledge trip with the family, cross-country skiing through Neustift or during a tranquil winter or snow-shoe hike through the snowy forest.
We are also cooperating with partner companies from the region who offer special conditions for Alpeiner guests. Our partners' experienced, certified guides will accompany you on your tours and safely take you to the most beautiful places in Stubai.
Feeling the fresh snow step by step, past snow-covered trees, inhaling the cold winter air, accompanied by the glittering of thousands of ice crystals – winter and snow shoe hiking are particularly idyllic in the Stubaital. Far away from the troubles of everyday life and stress, you will discover the essential nature of the Stubai when hiking through the snow-decked forests. On more than 80 km of groomed winter hiking paths active holiday-makers can let both their eyes and soul wander and find peace.

The Stubai Valley in Tyrol is nestled in an exciting mountain landscape and is known for holidays which are full of activity and enjoyment. The entire valley is perfect for sport lovers and families, for young and old, for active people... but also for anyone who wants to escape to a piece of untouched nature in order to switch off. The valley's events calendar is therefore extremely varied.
There are many ways to express greatness. The Seven Summits Stubai is not only about height, but also about the meaning of these mountains for people. Seven striking peaks that tell a story, leave a lasting impression or shape the landscape have been selected by our hiking and mountain guides and mountain lovers to give visitors to the Stubai Valley something to look forward to.
The name of the highest mountain in the Stubai Alps, Zuckerhütl, is no coincidence. If you look at this peak from the east, you will immediately understand why it is called that.
Just stop for a moment and look up. The Wilde Freiger rises majestically from the Grüna Lake near the Sulzenau Hut to the north. It looks as impressive as its Italian name 'Cima Libera' sounds.
At 3,277 metres, it may not be as high as its fellow peaks Zuckerhütl and Wilder Freiger, but it stands tall as the highest peak on the Habichtkamm ridge in the Stubai Alps.
A tough climb with a great reward - that's the motto of the Rinnenspitze in the central Oberbergtal valley.
A king reigns over the mountains. The Serles, ruler of the Tyrolean mountains, dominates the peaks from the Stubai Alps to Innsbruck with its imposing face.
Elegant and of medium height - this is true of several mountains in the Stubai Alps. But it is the modesty of this peak that surprises.
It poses for the cameras and yet remains mysterious. Every day at 11 o'clock it is illuminated by the sun and becomes the centre of attention in Neustift, before hiding its beauty again.
