Due to ideal thermal conditions, the Stubai Valley is a mecca for alpine paragliding. The flight conditions on the slopes of the Elfer are ideal for most of the year. Every day, paragliders take off into lofty heights from the backyard mountain of your hotel in Neustift.
The comfortable chairlift for eight persons at the Elfer will take you comfortably to the take-off area. If you do not yet have a license, you test your courage during a tandem flight. Climbing in the Stubai Valley - encounters with ice and rock

The craggy rocks of the Limestone Alps in the Stubai Valley are a paradise for climbers. Experience the adventure of climbing combined with an indescribable feeling of freedom.
Complete one of the many secured and signposted routes leading to one of the impressive three thousand metre peaks looming over the valley. Or work on perfecting your climbing skills in the climbing garden and climb natural rock faces, a quarry or a dam. It is ideal especially for beginners, who can make their first successful rock climbing experiences here under safe conditions. The sports climbing hall in neighbouring Fulpmes is also suitable for beginners or for visitors who wish to pursue their favourite sport under any weather conditions or any time of the day; here, they will find around 30 different routes and levels of difficulty ranging from IV to X.
